Generally acknowledged as the oldest and largest manufacturer of limited production automobiles in the nation.  The Excalibur is hand built from the ground up of steel and aluminum alloys that are cut, drilled and machined to close tolerances.  The frame thickness is three times that of a conventional automobile. In 1982 the material cost alone to build one Excalibur was $35,000.  Just as Duesenberg was considered the car of the Stars in the 1930s.  Excalibur is known as the car of the Stars in the 1980s. The Excalibur is an exciting piece of history and machinery. Its beauty is attested to by its famous owners.  Among them are such well know names as Roberto Duran, Dick Van Dyke, Tony Curtis, Shirley Jones, Sonny and Cher, Dean Martin, Jackie Gleason, Paul Harvey, Jay Leno, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Foreman, and several others.

This Excalibur is 1 of 152 Phaetons Produced in 1982.  There were 12 High Performance Engine Packages produced by Excalibur.  This Package was designed to allow the Excalibur’s to run at least 120 MPH on the Autobahn.  This Excalibur is 1 of 4 to remain in the United States.

  In July of 1992 this Excalibur was invited to be a part of the opening ceremonies of the Milwaukee Mile.

September of 1996  this Excalibur won a Concourse d’Elegance  by Mercedes- Benz of North America

 Excalibur’s 40^th Anniversary Reunion was June of 2003 at the Milwaukee Art Museum and again this Excalibur was invited to be on display. At this time this car was autographed by the Owners and Builders of Excalibur the Stevens brothers.
